I've been in Public Relations for over 20 plus years. I love meeting people,
it has always been my passion to serve and give to people rather it be words of encouragement, a hug, a listening ear ,or material things. I love to see people happy. I want people to have joy. I've worked in the medical field for years in the ICU department. Id sit at my desk, and professional women from every department would stop and speak to me. All of a sudden I would know most of their personal business. Some would say I don't know why I'm telling you my business. I would let them know it's ok, your secret is safe with me. I would always have to cut their stories short because I had to run to my patients room to see what was going on. Therefore I wasn't able to give them my full attention. Some would walk away with grief and pain in tears. So I said to myself, I need to be able to hear them out. I need to come up with a Talkshow where women can come and talk about their problems. Also if needed they can receive positive opinions. My Passion is to love on people genuinely. I now have a platform that women from all walks of life, can talk about problematic issues, and may get resolve from similar situations. I've been building this Talkshow within the past three years with my lovely Co-Host Rae Fortes. It has been challenging for us at times, but it has been rewarding to us as well. Believe me, we do get personal. We also allow our guest to showcase their talent, ideas, and concepts. We stay in the now, so we are relatable to all Adult audiences. A Cape Verdean with a Northern style and a Southern feel. I have been in the legal field for over 25 years and management for almost 20 years. As a child, I always had a heart to serve and always cared about people's feelings and would spend my time volunteering to help people in need. I dealt with situations as a child that caused me to refrain from using my voice. It caused me to only speak to people I knew as a safe guard and it leaked into my adult years. Therefore, even though I was very friendly, it was hidden behind childhood fears. I was always told to use my powerful voice to help others. Even though I wanted to use my voice, there was still a disconnect. Once your host, LaTonya Lyke asked me to be her co-host, I said "yes" but had to conquer my fears. It was a struggle at first but now I'm at a place where I am using my voice to help others in a comfortable space for voices to be heard. I have found my lane in the entertainment world. Having a heart of gold with a business and artist management background has allowed me to navigate in the entertainment industry. It has allowed me to utilize my experiences and talent to help others in many ways. I am community driven and always serving in one way or another from Atlanta to my home town, New Bedford, Massachusetts. My heart is for the people and always willing to help others in any way I can. I am an open book, what you see is what you get- REAL! Now, I have conquered my fears and I am making a difference using my voice while helping others. Being from the North with a taste of the South is a great combination! I get to the point in such a loving and kind way which allows our guests to feel comfortable. We are loving, relatable, and READY! So, Let’s Get Personal!!!
